旨揭辦法配合性別工作平等法及公務員服務法修正施行，修正第1條及第3條，重點如下：
(一) 第1條：配合公務員服務法第13條第4項規定，修正訂定依據。
(二) 第3條：將「陪產假」之假別名稱修正為「陪產檢及陪產假」，並修正其給假條件、給假日數及給假期間；另增訂各機關對聘僱人員依規定申請家庭照顧假、生理假、產前假、娩假、流產假、陪產檢及陪產假，以及因安胎事由申請其他假別之假時，不得拒絕，亦不得影響其考核或為其他不利之處分。
