| 一、 | 依據中華民國113年10月29日府授教國字第1130388643A號辦理。 |
| 二、 | 為因應十二年國民基本教育之推行，達成充實高級中等學校資源，均衡區域與城鄉教育發展之目標，提升本縣後期中等教育學習環境品質，原湖口高級中學將於114年8月1日分立「湖口高中」與「湖口國中」，兩校將分別進行獨立行政運作，以提升教育行政效率與服務品質。 |
| 三、 | 分校後，湖口高中將遷入位於王爺壟重劃區之嶄新校園，迎接湖口高中新紀元，現有學制保持不變並於新校區展開招生，114學年度增加三個普通班，內含一個「AI實驗班」(共招收六班普通班、兩班商業經營科、一班體育班)，116學年度將再增設三個職科班(資訊科與設計群科)，學校將持續提供優質的學習環境與多元的成長機會，確保學生利益不受影響。 |
| 四、 | 此獨立設校計畫旨在配合地區發展與家長需求，並提升本地學校整體教育水準，不改變既有師生福利。 |
